2000 Grand Prix issue

While Im rebuilding my car Ive been driving a 2000 Grand Prix with the 3100 and sometimes it seems to have issues. On occasion when I go to start it, it will do a few different things...
1-- It will just crank and never kick over.
2-- It will crank, than start, all the lights will dim, and it will die.
3-- It will crank, start, lights will dim, it will kinda stutter, than catch and run normally.
4-- Start up with no issue.

I am not throwing any codes and I dont really know much about most of the things that could be an issue with these cars. Thanks for any help.

Bringing this back because the problem is back. I had a buddy tell me to check/replace the spark plugs. I did and they looked worn, so I just replaced them. The car runs smoother but it still has the starting problem every once and a while. I did notice the smell of gas come from the tail pipe on a bad start...so Im thinking it might be something with the ignition. Do crank triggers go bad? Does crap ever build up on the sensor?
