Well lets just say I'm rebuilding my stock 3.1 motor out of my 1997 chevy lumina sedan. I had already bought a new set of pushrods(Stock). But while handling less important matters I happen to mix up the original intake and exhaust pushrods. Well I know the difference between the two, but my problem is not knowing which rod goes where as far as placement back into the engine. Man am I screwed! HELP Please!

You could have also just drope them in, its almost 100% obvious when you put an exhaust pushrod on a intake lifter it's just not right.

But just match up the intake and exhaust pushrods to the motor. Youll be able to tell.sigpic

Well when you start it up you'll know somethings not right. It will run like crap or not run at all or even start and make a terrible noise.sigpic New 2010 project (click image)

Ok, one reason I'm asking is that when I put a new LIM in my car (it has a noise problem--before and after) I'm paranoid that I may have screwed up the rods, but I think it runs and drives too good to have done that. I'm going to stop worrying about that part.
