  • Mysterious Sensor

I have a sensor of some sort that is broken on my 94 Camaro 3.4 engine and I'm trying to figure out what it is.
It's located in the block just in front of the driver's side cylinder bank and has a two wire connector going to it that only has one wire in it. It's not the water temp sensor. I can't find it in the parts manual.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks,
    Pat

The only sensors that are normally on the side of the block are the knock sensor, the crank position sensor (for DIS engines only), the oil pressure sensor, and... Hmm, that's all I can think of.

Ah! I have a crappy memory. It's in the head, so it must be the head temp sensor. Found it in the part manual. Sorry for wasting the time!
        Thanks for trying though.
