I am doing 2 LIM gasket changes next week. I was hoping someone could quickly tell me if the 2000 3.1 J and the 2001 3.4 E use the same gaskets? I have one set on the way that was meant for a 3.4 car, just hoping that one will work in the 3.1 car also?

Yes same. The 3100 VIN "J" has the same heads and intake as 3400 starting with that year.sigpic

And possibly the size of the TB. I dont remember if the 2000+ 3100's got the 56mm or if they stayed with the 52mm....

'00+ 3100's were 56mm.... since '00+3100=3400 ( port sizes ) bore still differentsigpic
