Denso O2's are nice. I'm running one and happy with it. www.sparkplugs.com has them for cheap. IIRC the new ac delco O2's are denso, and the sparkplugs are ngk. But branded Ac delco..

Rather than start another thread... i thought i'd mention in this one what I have found...
At lunch today I brought my car into the shop, and while chewing on a bologne sandwich plugged in the snap-on scanner.
I notice the LTFT is stays around -17, (STFT plus 1) indicating the PCM is continually cutting fuel...and the engine is therfore running rich.
02 sensors are fine
CTS is reading correctly, confirmed with pyrometer
IAT sensor is operating correctly
instead of listing all the common go to sensors, we'll say there ok
(edit: how many GPM should the MAF read while at idle?? anyone know that?)
I was thinking about the fuel pressure regulator or an injector fault... unfortunately i wasnt able to do an injector balance test, but i did put some vac to the FPR... it seemed it didnt leak...obviously... but im wondering how much pressure it should be able to hold...
I'd also like to know a little about the ohm rating for a healthy 97-99 3100 SFI injector... common problems? shity injectors? prone to clogging?
anyway.... this whole time i though a vac leak was causing my loping idle... but the LTFT numbers indicate it's fuel system related... anyone care to take a stab at it before I solve the case??? you'll win nothing.Last edited by IanSzgatti; 09-26-2007, 08:03 PM.
