No. http://www.60degreev6.com/showthread...&highlight=LX9
The LZ4/LZE would have similar manifolds to the 3900, whereas the LX9 is the box-style version that fits on the 3400 lower manifold. By similar, I mean they will bolt up to a 3900 (or other VVT) engine. They are not the ram-horn style plenum, but a box-type still with a split near the end of the box. There is a picture somewhere floating around showing it.Last edited by bszopi; 09-05-2007, 06:32 AM.-Brad-

lol, even i'm confused by that ^^^
I agree, not the same. the exhaust studs are offset in the VVT engines whereas the LX9's are the traditional setup like the 3400/3100.
Now, is it possible to use 3900 manifolds on an older '660.. Probably but you'd have to have them re-drilled for the right bolt pattern. Might be worth it to someone though..

There is a pic of the LZ4/LZE engine. And, I guess as far as manifolds go, are we talking intake or exhaust manifolds? I was talking intake, but Dave appears to be talking exhaust...-Brad-

Aah yes, i can see the confusion.
It would be nice if the LZE plenum would bolt to the LX9..

Yeah I answerd my own question last night, I forgot about the offset on the 3900 so they don't even line up. Thanks Brad, dumb question.
Jordie's a dumbass. lolLast edited by Blackrider; 09-05-2007, 03:01 PM.2006 G6 GTP MT6
