  • Injector flow rates - lets put something together

Im getting sick of searching high and low for EXACT injector flow rates, I think its time we put something concrete together, and sticky it. Or better yet post it on the main page. This is what i know so far:

    1990-1994 3.1 Vin T - 16.7 lb/hr
    Multec 1 3400 - 19.?? lb/hr
    Multec 2 3400 - 22.?? lb/hr

Please add to this, whatever you know, Im especially after the 1994-1999 3100 injector size (I think 17 something lb/hr), and the 3.4 dohc injector sizes.

I found this website: http://users.erols.com/srweiss/tableifc.htm#ROCHESTER Lots of good info there, but almost every GM V6 is blank there.

This is the Delphi site, use the search line on the bottom right. For most of the vehicles from years back to some of the current it gives detailed specs for several sensors and parts from resistance and frequency of the knock sensor used in the TGP to fuel pump flow rate and pressure and injector flow rates also.

Where is this list? I see a few GM part numbers, 1 of which I know is a newer 3100 injector...

That site has some very good info, but Im wondering how accurate it is. I checked a 1993 3.1 Vin T injector, and it says it has 15 lb/hr injectors, when I know for a fact it has 16.7 lb/hr injectors, because that is the actual value when you look at the .bin file.

The 2.8 injectors are probably 15#. I have a file on my laptop with injector ratings as well. Ill put some info up on the wiki.

Ahh, Ok, I see farther down under Rochester there is a bunch more. I'll see if I can put together something that can be put in the wiki.

3400 Multech 2's are 23# injectors. Final Answer.

All injector info can be taken right off the Delphi website. (almost all GM vehicles use Delphi injectors)

Is it? You don't think they just rounded 22.5 up?

Exactly my point. Whenever I do find numbers, they are not exact. I want at least to 1 decimal point @ a given pressure. I don't know how anyone is tuning using different injectors then what originally came in their car without this information. There must be alot of so-so tunes out there...

I'm using 23# in my calculations, my car runs fine. The ECM will take care of any small discrepancies. I don't know what to believe anymore so i just took what Delphi posted up. So much misinformation floating around these days.
