Well it was NOT the best weather to be drag racing. It was listed as 87 degrees "feels like" 100... Humidity was thick enough that you could cut it with a knife... it was bad from the start of the track to the end of it you could see the haze in the air.
Either way I was at Lebanon Valley with a few friends from Bstuff.com and we had a dragway get together... now this is the first time i have had this hybrid tuned sucker on the track. I still need to fix down low, it will hesitate BADLY if I just stuff it, so launching was rather interesting.
I bested a N/A time of 14.801@92.91MPH this is the cammed hybrid I just built, with 2 1/2 press bent exhust with a high flow catco cat, and a flowmaster 80 series muffler. I was very happy with the conditions to be putting down times like that. I know they will get better with more tuning and practice on this setup. O2 mv levels were in the upper 800's around 880's most of the time so I think if I drop it just a smidgen it will gain a few more poneys.
Here is the slip. I'm 195, the other driver is another beretta with a stock trans and just a 04 3400 stock... he ran with manifolds and a open cutout and was able to trap at 93 mph... that car pulls like crazy up top and we still cant figure out why. Either way its Fast... just not as quick
My best 60 of the day was a 2.21 IIRC... I'm still working on it but I never got any wheel spin...
Bottle was empty and there was no N2O filling station in the area... well at least the only one I knew of wasnt answering his phone... so thats why no N2O times.
