Starter Location

Need some history on starter location on 2.8EFI Iron blocks
Is the dual (left and right) starter locations only on aluminum blocks?
How many teeth on the ring gear with each location?

Yes only the GM bowetie blocks has a dual starter location.

RWD engines in the ISUZU trucks use a drivers side starter
ALL Domestic applications of a RWD block use a passenger side starter
All FWD applications were a left had starter (drivers side if installed longitudinally)

I am not sure on the flywheel tooth count but the RWD applications all used a larger wheel.
