  • random pic.. (and research)

So i decided that i'd "borrow" the O-Scope from work and bring it home to see what the signals from the 7x crank trigger looked like VS the 58x of the 3500.

I'm still fighting to get a good signal from the 58x but i figured i'd post the waveform of the 7x for kicks..

    Pic should be self explanitory.

I've got the harness plugged into the 58x but i'm getting nothing but noise, going to dig more into it later.. the car is too loud to have idling past 10 PM.. and it keeps overheating

Not sure.. it dosen't like to sit in 1 place for long. average temp is about 3/4 up the gauge.. I have a 14" pusher fan on it, plus a wall mount indistrial Dayton 2 blade fan blowing and a few other fans on it.. still gets up in the red after 5 or 10 minutes...

I thought you decided it was overheating due the lack of a heater core causing bad coolant flow?

Or was that just an issue of getting the system purged of air?

Too loud to idle past 10PM... HAHA I love it.

You must live in the city though... around here we do 2k-3k 30min cam break in's on 350ci race car motors at 10:30 or 11:30... depending on when we get it finished.

I used to live in the boonies, but now I live in greater FtLauderdale area. Now I get in trouble for leaving a trash can outside. I recently got a $250 fine for killing an opossum in my yard (have four young children). where I grew up, we had no such laws (SWFlorida).
