Ben when you gonna learn all the sensors work with any cam... I've never seen one throw a code.
I had a 01 cam and block running with a 94 sensor. And now I have a milzy cam running on a 05 sensor on my 97 ecm... I've tried a bunch and it still works.
I guess the ECM just goes off a square wave from the sensor and doesn't care if it's high voltage for the long duration, then low for the short, or high for the short duration and low for the long.... I guess if you were to graph them they would be opposite but its just looking at pulses I guess. Hard to picture in your head but I guess thats the case.

AKA leading edge, all the edges start in the same spot so they all spike at the same location, duration afterwards doesnt matter ist just where that initial spike is that matters.

Keep me updated. I don't want to blame Ben, but I almost want to see it be a problem with the head/heads... that would save you lots of time vs it being a problem with the piston or cylinder.
A head or valve issue is a lot easier to fix than a lower end problem.
Could just be a stuck open valve from something stupid... who knows. That kinda chit happens with the race car sometimes. Rather annoying if you ask me.
