  • Super Charger Injectors

I was looking at using some 3.4DOHC (22#) injectors for my application but just recently I found some L67 injectors (??#) from a 1996 Buick Riviera and I was wondering if I should really use my 3.4DOHC injectors again or the L67 injectors.
My engine would be basically a Gen2 MPFI with a T4 and other little bolt on mods. I am running OBD1 (not the "OBD1.5") and have a rrfpr/walbro f/p etc etc... My goal is 8 psi street and possibly 12 psi at the strip. IIRC, are the l67 injectors shorter than the 3.4DOHC injectors? I tend to forget.

    Thanks

IIRC, the L67 injectors are about 32#. Correct me if I am wrong.

Really? I would have thought they were 34#. Know if they are shorter than the stock 2.8/3.1mpfi's?

My sources say the L67 injectors are #36. And they're the exact same physical size as any 3x00 injector and use a Bosch-style connector.

            x2

the L67's are #36 and they might be a bit much for a turbo 3.1.

keep the #24 DOHC injectors, they should work fine.

Would it hurt to use the L67 injectors, because I already have a tune ready to be burnt with the L67 injectors? Or would it be that pig rich for my engine?

That's what I'll be using in my build, though I think mine are 34#, but I have to verify that, from a Ford 3.8 SC. According to calulations I'll need 55# injectors to meet my power goal.
