hmm..I have a m90 sc. laying in the basement.
but the engine should last a long time so.. that would mean only
    5-6 psi of boost.

I am not sure if installing the sc. would be worth the power thats
made by it knowing its only 6 psi or so.

standard cam is ok for boost.

plus my budget won't alow the money for a cam.
maybe later I'll add some 1.7 rockers if they are worth the money.

i am still researching my options.

Fuck the m90.. just get a garett or something. You can find cheap turbo's all over the place. Then do the hardware and whatnot out of DYI'er stuff. But the stock cam on ANY car sucks. And you can find cams anywhere for pretty cheap. Try Comp Cams. They did my Z28 cam. Great price. Great performance.
And yes, upgraded rockers work fantastic on these motors too. They are CHEAP in the 60*v6 store
'93 Sunbird. 5spd, 3.1, it's fast. Oh, and 240k miles has proven lethal against Turbo Talons

I'm lurking occasionaly. It's tough because I'm usually too busy with the Army or my 5.0 Mustang. Which is for sale.

well with all respect to you..but the cams for the 3400's
aren't all over the place.(roller cam)

besides milzy and the 60v6 store no one offers them as far
        as i know of.

and the stock cam is pretty good for boost.
thats what has been said around here on the forum.

I like superchargers more than I like turbo's actually.
thats why i got the m90.

        instant boost.
the 3400 engines arent revvers anyway..so the sc. is the choice for me.

Ya good point.. it is kinda hard to come across 60*v6 performance now that I think of it  You sure Comp wouldn't have a cam? I am not doubting the stock cam isn't good for boost, but THE best mod you can do when you hvae your motor torn down is a cam, and if you could find one cheap why not do it ya know?
I understand wanting instant boost, but that means your gas mileage is instantly shittier. Better gas mileage with a turbo. Plus, you can get dual stage turbos so you get boost off idle, and then another compressor takes care of the top-end power.

Also remember that he is halfway around the world, so parts may not be as easy to come by for him as they are here in the states...

BBQ? hehe. Yeah for the power/money boost over cam. Since you have a fiero, boost coming on soon is not a traction issue. So go for the m90 if you already have it! they have boost by pass so you might be able to rig that up to get decent mileage.

If you remote mount the m90 do plumb it through an intercooler.
