  • Camaro 3.4L

I want to know if the 3.4L RWD found in the third gen camaro (95) is a good and reliable engine. I know performance wise it's probably not the best but I want to know if there any things to look for when buying one of those fbody with the 3.4. Thanks

They were only in the 4th gen. and yeah they are a pretty solid piece even in stock form.

I would say they are pretty reliable. I have seen some with over 160,000 miles on them and they still ran fine. Just remember to do your usual upkeep on the maintenance. I would also note that those 3.4s are a later version of the 3.1 and 2.8 Camaro engines, which were also pretty decent engines.
