      I would love to try one of those Equinox plenums. But it looks like i would have to buy a cowl hood, and I want to keep the stock look...outside the engine bay.

        You would have to take measurements, but it might just fit. The 3.1/2.8 intake is about 1.5" taller than the 3400, and at least an inch higher than the 3500. The 3500 only has the brake booster and blank vacuum port that is higher, and it looks like they could be machined off and re-welded to make it the same height as the 3400.
        NM, just looked at the pic again, that thing is TALL!

          Yeah, the only way it might work is if you had it backwards. But thats a whole new set of issues I would have to deal with when the turbo goes in. Plus I think it would hit the firewall/cowl area.
