Converting from MAP to MAF?

Just had a random thought. Has anyone attempted to convert an OBD1 system over to run a newer MAF?

I was thinking along these lines because it might help my cammed 3500 idle a little bit better.

I've got a MAF from a 2002 Alero and I think the plug is still in it...

The older Beretta's (87-8 ran a maf. Maybe look into that and explore its options. I personally think with the right data and knowledge, speed density can be tuned for many configurations.

yah, i abandoned this idea. my car idles fine with the MAP

Running the old MAF code with a new style MAF would be cool, but are the they same tech as the old MAFs? Or were the old analog voltage instead of a frequency?
