  • 3100 and 3400 oil pan

Is there a difference between the oil pan of a 3100 and a 3400? If so, are they platform specific, or can a 3100 pan be used on the 3400?

    They are the same.

The only difference that I am aware of is that some of the 3400 pans have a sensor on the bottom of the oil pan to dectect low oil levels.

Other than that I believe they are the same as Brad stated above.
