  • Where to mount oil pressure sender

I have a set of aftermarket gauges currently in my Sunfire (volt, O2 and oil pressure) More are on their way since I will more than likely lose all cluster functions after this swap is complete, except for fuel level -- won't know how fast I'm going, but by golly, I won't run out of gas getting there... gotta love class 1 versus class 2 wiring incompatibilities

Since I want to retain those gauges 2 out of 3 are cake. The oil pressure one is confusing me.

On the 3400, where is an adequate place to mount an aftermarket OP Sender (if it helps any, its a Cyberdyne sender), or better, could I t-tap off the stock sender and not have to worry about it tearing/shearing off? If it can be t-tapped, where is the stock sender? My repair manuals don't seem to indicate where that is located...

They are mounted on the filter adaptor. You can drill and tap for a new sender on the filter adaptor if you want or you can T into the stock one.
