i don't see it anymore now but i remember seeing somewhere in a thread that some of the 284's recieved an hd build from GGONA if they were sent back to be reman'd. i didn't really care at the time b/c i had a 4t60e.
well while i was doing some prep work for a swap i noticed a metal tag on the bottom of the tranny. after wiping off the grime i noticed that this tranny has in fact been remanufactured by GGONA. other than that, the axle ends are painted red.
is there a way i can decode the build tag to see if it recieved the hd treatment?? or if the hd rebuild is real or just a rumor? do you guys need me to post the tag???
lastly, what was the included in the hd 284(if it was real)??
