Picked something up today

I was at the u-pull-it yesterday just looking for some tresure. I can across a GP (Not sure of Year, older body style, GTP). It had the 3.4 DOHC, so do I assume that it's a 284?

The tranny was already gone, but they left the shifter and cables. Are they of any use for a 3400 project? Or should I sell them?

Sell them to me:P You would need a 284 to use those cables as far as I know. I dont think the ends are the same as the 282.

Hmm... I just may... It's in almost new condition.

They also left the axles it looks like...

My cables are a bit worn but not completely shot yet. Would be nice to have a good set to throw in there. Got a price if you do decide to sell them?

How can you tell how worn they are? From what I see, they look great.

I couldn't tell you other than having them in the car. As long as the ends aren't ripped up and you can slide them back and forth with ease id say they are good.
