91 auto to standard?

I have a 91 3.1 Z24 with an auto. What standard can I swap to? Do I need to change the half shafts? Any install guides?

282 5 speed was the standard trans in the Z24. I doubt it is the same setup as the grand prix which you could reuse one of your axles but you can check autozone to see if the part numbers are the same for any of them. I dont know if there are any guides to do it or not.

you need to change your axles. here is a general list of what you need

-tranny- its a getrag 282. stick with a 90-91. older uses a different slave, newer uses a different speedo pickup
-axles
-steady bearing and cross shaft
-master, slave, line
-shifter
-shift cables
-console top
-pedal assembly
-flywheel
-clutch
-release bearing

your best bet is to find a parts car. you can use the 87-89 tranny, but you need to make sure you use the slave, master and line for an 87-89.
