I found a locally owned shop that deals in transmissions and they have a trans from a 92 gp that had the 3.4 in it. I was wondering if this transmission would bolt right up to my 95 3.4 and still be compatible with the computer system.

simply put, no. 4t60e's wernt common till 93, but they were in some cars in 92. most likley they have a 4t60/440t4. its non electronic. and even if it was a 4t60e, there are some wiring changes (locations in the plug) that were changed between the 92-94 and the 95.

4t60e has come in a lot of vehicles. basicly look for anything 95-2000 mid-full size, 3100, 3400, 3300, 3800. realy the only thing you gotta watch out for is that you get the right converter and gear ratio. the best thing would be to find one from the same body style car and engine you have.Comment
