Ok guys, my transmission for some reason is losing its overdrive after a few minutes of driving on the road. The transmission acts just fine until I lose overdrive, but all the other gears work fine.
I’m thinking it could be the temp sensor. I’ve read that if the trans gets to hot then the pcm will run it in hot mode. (That’s when shifts down into 3 or 2 gears).
One other thing I can turn the car off and restart it and it will act fine until I lose overdrive.
If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.
