  • finalizing my 5spd install

Ok, mechanically i'm good to go.
I just put my tranny onto my 3.1 with new
    clutch
    pressure plate
    T/O bearing
    slave cyl.
    clutch fork
    rear main
    GM tranny mount (NOS)
flywheel (SOOO much better seeing THIS on my engine than a TQ Converter )

So the actual mechanical assembly is put together. Now i haven't gotten to the wiring yet, so what am i going to need to know?

I can see where the VSS Plug goes, and whatever other plug it is that goes onto it...lol (too early right now).

Now that harness that plugged into my 4T60, where does it go? Do i just cut it off and never give a shit about it again and forget i ever even had an automatic?

Also, let me say real quick, yes, i've swapped computers.
Just wondering if there's anything 'special' i need to do with the wiring.

Thanks in advance guys (i'll be on later at work but just reading through, so TIA for comments/help)

There was a write-up about it, and I have my old modified 92 harness out of my car now, so I can take pics of what I did to make it work if that helps.
I may own a GTO now, but I'm still a 60V6er at heart.

Hmmm....you have it out...do you still need it?

If you could take pics and/or draw up a diagram similar to it, or at least show what goes where, that'd kickass

That is, unless you don't need it...then we could work out another deal.
