4t60e kits

Now I have a 4t60e that has the trans go shift correction kit in it and i'm having valve body issues... I am going to replace the valve body, and I was told to get one from GM and then do the correction kit on it again, there are some listed on ebay that have all the Sonnax updates done to them. What are these sonnax updates and when I get that would I still have to add the shift correction kit?

Does anyone have installation directions for the Trans go kit, or the sonnax ones that they could send me, I would like to get an idea on what it is replacing, I have a spare valve body lying around that has 175k on it, that I can use to look at for reference.

Also with the trans go kit is there any reeming necessary or on a new valve body will this just drop right in?

the trans tuner allows you to increase the line presure and the lockup clutch engaugment. its a handy tool.

sonnax is a company that makes stuff to fix common issues and fix problems. they have a number of valves and stuff out for the 4t60e. they arent a shift kit (or correction kit).

Ok so any valve body purchased I should look into the shift correction kit as well.

I have been researching sonnax, and finding out exactly what you said, they are basically if your valve body is worn we'll supply a $180+ reemer tool and a $5 valve to fix it... but it saves you over $150 in valve body replacement ? ? I got a quote of 608 from gm for a valve body and pump, and 500 from gm parts direct... thats nutso for a new one... I guess I'll stick with the reman one with sonnax updates. Gotta be just as good if not better... right?
