  • 5 speed swap wiring question

Does anyone know if there's a write up for wiring in the Clutch Start Switch and Clutch Position Switch (Shift Anticipate Switch)? I have everything I need out of my donor car now but I'm wondering what underdash wiring I may need to pull from the Z34 for my GTP.
Does the auto harness have the wiring needed for these two switches? I'm guessing not, that would be too easy.

I dunno about a writeup on the swap.. But I think there is one around somewheres.

Anyways... about the clutch start switch. I'd assume that you'd wire it into where the Park/Neutral safety start switch was.

i just got a car that has a 5 spd swapped in it. the guy doesn't have one. i can crank the car without pushing in the clutch, which isn't a problem for me.

have you wired up the reverse lights? this car does not have that wired either. i may end up doing a toggle if nothing else.

Well I'm just a bit picky when it comes to stuff like this. I want my car to be as close to an original 5 speed as I can make it. And there's a write up on this site for getting your reverse lights working right. Just look under the HM-284 under the transmissions section.
