FIXED: 4T60-E odd sound

OMG what apissoff... i rebuilt that p.o.s before i put it in...

anyways.. when i put the car in drive it makes a funny noise
kind of a mix between the sound that your starter makes when you try to start your car, but its allready running
mix between that and tire squeeling

it does it in drive, l2, l1
not in reverse, that transmission shifts firmly into reverse and drive but drive makes that noise, it wants to go forward, reverse works good

could this be a slipping sprag?

what a turn off, guess i will be parkign my car for th winter

sounds like it has internal issues. id be pullingit out and either getting a used one or getting it rebuilt.

i know its an internal problem...

fack, id take it out if i had a garage, with an engine hoist, ect.. ect..
im just wondering what components would make that specific noise




trouble shooting tree ?????

-what components in the transmission relative to eachother move when in drive?

-tranny DOES go into gear(drive/reverse)

-does not make noise when in park/nuetral

-does not make noise in reverse

ok so it turnes out i needed a liter of fluid, at the time i wasnt able to check the fluid level becuase the car would not idle, today i replace my modded memcal(tis bunk) with a good aubu from the junker
runs a bit better now, jsut have to bleed the air out of teh coolant system, its being a bugger at the moment, i think my thermostat is stuck closed
