Stalling Problem

Can somebody tell me why my car stalls sometimes when I down shift when going down hills? Not very fast, like 50 KPH max and not a very steep hill. But as soon as I down shift to 2nd gear the engine stalls and I'm now coasting.

P.S. Iv'e got a 94 GTP w/ 4T60-E
