01GAGT Shift Kit

Does anyone know if they make a performance shift kit for a 2001 Grand Am GT? I came across someone on another site that said they have one but has not responded to my two emails that were sent. Thanks, any info is appreciated.

You could always shim the accumulators for less than $5. Does the same thing essentially.

I don't know if I'm mechanically inclined enough to do that myself. I was hoping there was a kit available so I could pay a shop to do it. Is there no kit available?

Its easy. Drop the pan (15 or so bolts that are easy to get to), pull a few more easy bolts on the accumulator, then open it up, put in some washers, and put it back together. Two hours, tops.

And this works on the 4T60-E as well? I don't know If I would do it, cause I want to dump in the 282.
