  • Service Bulletin No.: 57-71-06A

I have been having the problem described in the bulletin since about 1-2 months after I got my car. The only thing is that the noise is always present when I accelerate and it gets worse going around corners, not just from a "cold start". I know the bulletin says it does not affect the durability of the tranny, but the noise seems to be getting worse by the day. My question is, the oil pump that the bulletin is refering to, is that the pump in the tranny or the pump for the engine cause my car has a rather large oil leak and I was thinking if I fixed the o-ring on the oil pump (the place the oil is leaking from) then it might go away. If it is the pump in the tranny though then I may just need a new tranny, cause mine sounds like it has a dead mouse between the gears at this point. Any help you can give me would be great. Thanks!

I'd suggest getting it checked. If oil level in the transmission checks out..then yea..get it checked out. If it has warrenty..then I sure hope they honor it.
