  • rebuilt 4t60-e first problem, gear dropout.

Well I got my tranny rebuilt about 8 months ago and tonight i experienced somthing a little weird. I was crusing about 15 mph in a parking lot then came to a complete stop, i had my foot on the pedal for about 15 seconds then went to let off and hit the gas. the car just reved like it was in nutral.
I shifted it into nutral than reverse, nothing happened, then i shifted back into drive and the car went into gear

The fluid level is fine, really no dirt, except the black "dirt" that comes out on the dipstick, but i was told thats normal, from wear and tear on the trannys belts...

    what could be failing???

all possible reasons would help me out to get an understand on what would cuase this. and as of tommorow i will contact the shop that rebuilt it and talk to them about checking it out.

    thanks!
