Hi My Name is Yannick ,Yann is to short, I have a GTP 1994 with a 4T60E and my tranny fall down in august after turn a corner ,pull the gas and 'bing ! badang !' FU***K I pull my tranny on R N D L 2 3 ALL ON THE Neutral...

My question is ... what is the wriring to past de automatic to manual my GTP is a 1994 and my donor car is a Lumina Z34 1992 :P

The easiest way to do the wiring is to use the 91-93 wiring harness/ECM from whatever car the Getrag 284 transmission comes from.

It can be made to fit, some re-wiring on the firewall connector and maybe a few other things. Very simple in comparison to getting a 94 ECM to work with a 5spd.

How many time just for a tranny swap ?
I don't have a garage,lift ... lol I'm in the grass ! but I have a another car I'm not stressed :P

I had an engine lift, but I have taken the engine out with just 2 floor jacks. I did it in 3 or 4 days, but I had to do extra stuff due to the turbo.

1 day to take engine out and put the 5spd in
1 day to re-weld my exhaust and put the shifter in
1 day to get the dash out, parts swapped, and back in
1 day to put engine back in

do you have a good knowledge in mechanical ? or .. you just touch for fun .. I have change all part on a car .. brake, gas tink, brake, bearing, differential(on my firt car), praticly all, but not engine and tranny.. and my GTP it's my baby lol and I do not want scrap this.. It's so beautiful :P lol
