4T60-E HD tranny?

Ok, I know the heavy duty version of the 4T60-E was mated up to the Supercharged 3800 Series 1 in the '92 - '96 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi's but I was wondering if it would work in my car. My guess would be that it would physicaly bolt up just fine but maybe some computer issues?

94 and 95 should be the only 2 years that are a direct swap.

the tranny's that were mated to the S/C engine were not really HD versions either.

what you should really do is just use the 65e clutches and get an LSD and that should hold 12's just fine.

IF you have a 4t60e in your car it'll bolt up just fine and work no problem... But if you want a true heavy duty transmission have yours rebuild and up dated..
