i'm asking this because i plan to use a 3.1 chip on my 3100. and i heard that the tgp trannies are pretty strong. so i was wondering if they would work fine with my engine??? i will rebuild one with harder parts.

yes it will bolt right up
the tgp used a 4t60 tranny, it was nothing special, just a run of the mill 4t60 (or 44t4, just a different name). id just keep whatever you have right now. any 2.8/3.1/3100/3400 will bolt right no it.

dude u are sweet. that will my pcm issue of a 3.1 computer will not work with a 3100 tranny. i will just find a tgp tranny and rebuild it.!!!!Comment
