4t60-E looking for 3.73 final drive ratio

I read about changing the sprockets on these transmissions to get a lower gear. I am having trouble finding the sprockets. I trans parts salesman told me the 4t60-e and 4t65-e were almost the same so I bought those 33/37 sprockets but the driven didn't fit right.

I have a 4t60-e 33t drive sprocket, but having problems finding the 37t driven.

Anyone know where I could easily find one of these? I may be interested in buying several sets...

Many transmissions in the yard have these gears and probably they most cost effective place to find them. 60e to 65e yes the driven is different because of the different 4th clutch support.

You could check out wittrans for their catalog and see if they have the pn listed or even some available because they do sell new/used hard parts.

wittrans is where I got the 33t drive sprocket. They did not have the 37t available. I gave them the trans code for a 94-96 W body that came with the 3.4 DOHC that has the 33/37 gears so they could keep an eye out for one. My most local yard does not have a trans with one, and haven't been to any other yards yet, even though there are 3-4 big ones within an hours drive. I was looking for the easy route first, just buying on the 'net already pulled.
