I'm not really having any luck scaring up a shop that will offer me anything other than a stock rebuild for the 4T60E my '96 Century. I need to have a decently beefy one built, with a 3.29 final instead of the stock 2.97. I also need someone who can flash the PCM to accommodate the new final, and maybe modify the shift points/lockup. As it is in stock configuration, it will shift to 4th at around 36 mph, but won't lock the converter in either 3rd or 4th until about 50 mph. I would prefer the converter to lock at about 36, and shift to 4th above 50.
So, anyone have any recommendations? It doesn't necessarily have to be local. I can travel a bit to pick up the unit, like maybe Phoenix or LA areas. The computer flashing would have to be local.
