what trans for 02 GrandAm Se1 (3400 eninge)

Hey everyone,
I have a freind who has a 2002 grand am SE1 with a slipping 4t65e. it is a none servicable one with out the dipstick. I am wondering what other trans we can swap in. I have a dhp so we can do a gearswap if needed in the pcm to make it work. will any 4t65e work?

The transmission in the 99-05 Grand Am V6 cars is the 4T45e. The 4T65e was never an option in the GA, so you'd have to fab brackets and figure out axles to make it work...

You could use literally any V6 automatic from the same generation Chevrolet Malibu, Oldsmobile Alero, or Grand Am... they are all technically N-bodies, you should have no trouble finding one. They pretty much all used the 3.05 final gear, except the Malibu Maxx and Grand Am GT used the 3.29.
