  • RWD clutch with FWD flywheel?

Since I have never completed the MGB, I am not sure anymore if I can use the FWD flywheel with the camaro clutch or if I have to use the FWD clutch. Looks like its the same clutch, so does it matter?

It's the same clutch. The pressure plates are different but have the same bolt pattern. RWD pressure plates have the fingers stick out farther. I'm not certain but I think some of the RWD pressure plates may be different from others as well.

The 3.4 flywheel was really deep compared to the FWD. Would I have to be certain its a RWD pressure plate and any clutch?

The 3.4 RWD flywheel has the same pressure plate bolt pattern as the FWD flywheels. For the S10 3.1 swap we used a FWD flywheel with an S10 2.5 T5 bellhousing, the 3.1 clutch disc, and a brand new S10 2.5/2.8 pressure plate (same part #).
