    Rechecked resistances.

    Pin G (shift sol b) = 39.1
    Pin F (shift sol a) = 39.3
Pin D (tcc apply) = open
    Pin B (tcc pwm) = 27

All readings done at about 85 degrees(ambient). I wonder if I made a mistake on the earlier test for pin D and had it on the wrong pin. I've been looking for part numbers to give to the parts store employees since they can't seem to find the solenoids by what I'm calling them.

Are the solenoids all the same for shift 1-2, shift 2-3, and tcc apply? Is the the tcc pwm solenoid the only different one?

SSA, SSB and TCC apply all use the same resistance specs, as far as physically, i wouldn't know.

at ambient, SSA, SSB and TCC apply should be ~20-30 and TCC PWM should be ~10-15.

now it looks like all of them are out of spec.

actually, i did a quick look one rockauto.... go to transmission, automatic, control solenoid

24202614 is the ACDelco part number for both shift solenoids and the TCC apply solenoid.
there seem to be a few different ACDelco part numbers for the TCC PWM solenoid though. based on the other brand pictures listed, i think the 8683535 is the correct one.

I guess I'll order the other 2 then. I already have the 2 shift solenoids.

Since I'm going in there, is there something else I should consider fixing/replacing other than the filter? I sure hope it fixes my problems.

Also, you think I can get away with reusing the side cover gasket? Cheapest I found is like 60 bucks!!

Got all 4 solenoids in. However, it is probably wishful thinking blaming them. Metal fragments littered the pan. Cleaned it out, changed filter, and filled up, but haven't cranked yet. We'll see. Guess I should be locating a used trans.

            fragments? ouch.

yeah, i'd start looking. with the clean fluid, i would assume they swapped the trans in and didn't bother with even opening the pan for the filter and just flushed fluid through.

              Just to update the situation:

The trans ran fine for a few weeks. Then it started slipping in 2 and 3. Got so bad I finally pulled the trans and am replacing it with a used one. Am making another thread for that one.
