  • I'm looking to make new shift cables for Getrags

Many have asked me in the past years to make new shift and select cables for the FWD with the 282 Getrag since I make them for the Fiero. I may make them. One thing I found is they are both the same length. So possibly I can make the shift cable and it can be used also as the select cable? I will make adapters so any shifter assembly can be used. One would drill out the factory pins and bolt in my pins.

Would it be the same linkage for a 284?

I have a custom cable here that was made by someone, with tag numbers the whole 9 yards. I could give you info on what they used.
