couple short questions.

do the hm282 and 284 trans use the same flywheel?

will the crank of my 3400 accept an off the shelf pilot bushing? if so which one?

Neither trans uses a pilot bushing, so no worries there. I *think* the flywheels are different but I do not know that one for sure. Perhaps the difference is in the bolt pattern for the pressure plate?

I'm pretty sure that all neutral balance 60v6 flywheels are the same.

You can use the same aftermarket aluminum flywheels so the stockers must be compatible as well.
