TH125 Shift issue.

Hey guys,
I have a 89 Corsica that is getting on my last nerve. At slow, normal acceleration, it won't shift until 4500 rpm. The past couple of days I've shifted from drive to 2nd then back up to drive and it shifts at 3500. The tranny only has 78,000 miles on it and it has plenty of fluid. What the hell is going on?

Is your kickdown cable jammed or not hooked up? and making the trans think your at WOT?

I checked my kickdown cable and it was loose. I re adjusted it now it works great. Thanks for the feedback.
