      T56 isn't going to happen unless you can find someone to make an aftermarket bellhousing.

      The T5 info is in the thread above, however the T5 won't handle much power. That's why i went with a 700R4 instead.
      Past Builds;

      Current Project;

        depends on what T-5 you're going to use. a decent condition V8 T-5 should hold most V6 swaps(including yours, you quitter lol). if that's not good enough, if you want to drop a little money, you can pick up some nice aftermarket T-5's.... if i ever swap my engine into a RWD project it'll get the v6 bellhousing and a T-5.

            T5's are either WC (World Class) or NWC (Non World Class). the NWC ones are junk, the WC is a little better but still can't handle much.

            4th gen Fbodies got the WC T5's behind the V6's but it wouldn't hold up to the LT1 or LS1.

            I wonder what manual trans the 5th gen V6 Camaros are getting... I bet it's a beast.

              okay more info here. 83' -94' isuzu troopers with the 2.8l and 5 speed have the starter on the drivers side could be used. camaro / firebirds same years Im told have the starter bump on both sides. anyone good at fabing can make these bellhouseing work on a t-56. if not any good at machine work should take the bellhouseing and trans to a good shop.

                D&D had a T-56 trans and adapter plate that replaced the T5. Just find/use a 60* t5 bellousing and the adapter plate and trans.
