Before I found this site, I was looking around for what I could find on the 4T65E transmission. Turns out there's a great illustrated sequence over at the Bonneville forum:
But it wasn't clear to me that the bushings could be replaced separately. This guy did so:
But still had some difficulty. At some point I may end up trying such a thing, I wonder how putting the bushings in a cooler along with some dry ice before hand and warming the steel component to 270 or 300 degrees would ease assembly?
