2.4L Twin Cam into Malibu?...

I know the 2.4L twin cam is not a V6 but it has more parts in the performance area and I know it is compatible with the 4t40 transmission. If I were to get this engine, what all components of the donor car would I need to make it work correctly with the transmission?
