Thanx... Hopefully won't need it. Got a lot to do before then. Guess I'm lucky I live closer.

I really don't know how I forgot this, must be pre-alzheimers. THE CAR IS BACK!!!!!!! He installed the hardened pin, and the new case, and it already had the rest of the other parts new. Feels like Sex and Candy! (Till it pisses on me again.) The parts he took out looked like they should be on a plate with a lot of sauce and some shaved Parmesan! I do not fuck around when I fuck something up! I have seen a lot of RWD diffs let go, but this is the first time I have seen a FWD do it! It was awesome! The price of parts sux! $308 and change. I guess I will be sleeping in a tent in Bowling Green!

Figure out shipping to 45324. The guy talked to me today and I told him the previous info. I put the repair on hold untill I get parts that will keep this POS together. E Mail me a total. I can use Pay-Pal or regular whichever is easier. Pocket Rocket was exactly right. The F.....g pin broke. Not from Turn Burns though. This will be the last time an A/T gets worked on in this car. Hopefully someone at the meet will have a trailer if I need it. And thanx to all who have helped in this stupid situation. General Motors.......This is the worst POS you have ever come up with. But, I like GM anyway.
The 4T60E was built with the words 'daily driver' in mind, nothing else. I wasn't aware TransGo made a serious shift kit for this. Is it a big blue box pro kit, or one of those 'junior' ones? If it helps, a place I've found that's always been pretty good with hard parts is Teal Automotive. I don't work there, I just buy parts there. 800-722-0215.

A lot of the Chrysler A604s and some of the A670s had problems with the differential pin coming out and digging a hole in the case as well. There's a fix available for those in particular. I've never seen the problem before in a GM, but perhaps something similar could be worked out for the GM planet.

Plus, I was under the impression that the TH200C was GM's worst hour.
The ghost of tomorrow from my favorite dream is telling me to leave it all behind.

The first auto that came out of the 91 didn't have the pin come out for no reason. It was like the pin got sheared (looked more like worn) in two peices, then the two peices dislodged and came out to make a guest apperance and say hi.
