EW!!! Devil car!!! Ok, just the ECM is evil. OBD 1.5 as some call it. OBD 1 flash ECM w/ an OBD2 connector, which requires a dealer to read codes from it IIRC. I think Brians car is a 94, maybe you should talk to him about swapping backward to OBD1 w/ a 91-93 ECM setup if you decide to go the 5 speed route. Mine was a 91, so it was all straight forward since a 5 speed was available in 91 (93 was the last year for them).

This car was bred straight from Satan's loins! I have been without it now for 6 1/2 weeks and the shop says 2 more days! It was rebuilt in Feb. and I have about 2200 miles on it. I think he found out one of his employees fucked up and is trying fix it himself off hours. We already know the case is junk, the differential shelled out. Are there parts available? When the tranny is rebuilt, what can they do to cause the Diff. to screw up? I am not used to FWD Trannies. That's why I don't mess with them! Gimme a TH350! I can do it in the dark. If I didn't like this car so much, I'd buy a fuckin' KIA! I am very frustrated! Gimme the SOB that designed the 4T60-E. Just 10 minutes with the bastard! He will never enjoy life as we know it! yes, I am ranting. No... I am MAD!!! Little Bitch better be ready for Kentucky!

I know if you do too many one wheeled burnouts when turning corners, the pin that holds the two spider gears in comes out of the diff housing and tears up the case extension. Happened on both of my old autos. I don't remember how the pin is held in, maybe something wasn't tight, and the pin came out or something.

You should go ahead and have parts from a 3.1 4T60 used to create a 3.73 FDR. Also, im pretty sure you can get better clutches/bands/whatever the hell is in the trans. You can also get an LSD for it.

Figure out shipping to 45324. The guy talked to me today and I told him the previous info. I put the repair on hold untill I get parts that will keep this POS together. E Mail me a total. I can use Pay-Pal or regular whichever is easier. Pocket Rocket was exactly right. The F.....g pin broke. Not from Turn Burns though. This will be the last time an A/T gets worked on in this car. Hopefully someone at the meet will have a trailer if I need it. And thanx to all who have helped in this stupid situation. General Motors.......This is the worst POS you have ever come up with. But, I like GM anyway.

I beg to differ, the 3 speed that was hooked to the 3300 N-body's was worse

Don't. If it screws up, I will either sell or push it back. Car looks good sitting still.

But my car looks so good on a trailer!! Besides, my wife and daughter may be coming now after all, and I think I'm still giving Brian a ride as well. So it would be a long, cramped trip in the Beretta... And this will give my wife something to drive if she gets sick of hanging out with all of you guys.
