im pretty new to the world of engine swaps that dont bolt up, and my question to you guys is what all is necessary to adapt an engine to a transmission that was never even dreamed to be mated with it? the way i figure is to have a VERY precise adaptor plate made to adapt the flywheel that matches the trans to the engine, & have the adaptor plate made to that thickness, OR just have a custom flywheel made that is the same dimensions as the one matching the trans, but with the bolt pattern for the engine, & have it be slightly deeper to accommodate for the adapter plate. which is right & if both is wrong then what? lol you help is REALLY appreciated guys.
