Diff Clutches

I cant seem to find any old threads stating wich different clutches will work in a FWD. I'm currently looking for a new clutch for my cammed large port 3100, that will be going in my 91 cavi.

I did manage to find a Exedy clutch kit for the Isuzu Rodeo 4wd and was wondering if this kit would fit. The clutch disk itself is the same as stock on the 3.1 but I dont know if the pressure plate will work.

I'm not much on those cheap eBay throw-to-gathers, so I would like to stick with a name brand, but with my budget (under $200. usd) that may be the route I have to go.

Any suggestions are welcome,

with my experience, stock > spec stage 2. (that was on stock 3400)
on this current engine(sig) im using a clutchmaster stage 3, no issues at all so far, very streetable, drives like stock. but thats a little over $200..

I run a stage 3 6-Puck from "ez clutch" that i bought on ebay 3 years ago. It's got about 3K miles and 30-40 runs down the strip on it.

Last i checked there are some heat marks and wear but it's holding up to hard launches on slicks with a LSD Diff and about 300 ft-lbs of TQ. It's also decent for daily driving.

EZ-Clutch doesn't exist anymore evidently. I'm thinking that 123-clutches-n-parts is the same seller now. The stage 2 and stage 3 disks they have look like quality parts, i'm just not sure how good the pressure plates are.

I've been thinking about using a stock replacment pressure plate and one of the stage 2 or 3 disks they sell. As long as the clamp load is at least 1500 that should do well.

Does anyone know the aprox. stock pressure plate clamp load?
