Hey,
I've got a B&M ProStick for my car and I've got a question about the factory shifter gear selector switch. I left the factory switch is it for now but want to wireup my neutral safety and reverse lights in properly, but I have two wires left over and I'm not 100% sure what they exactly do.
1. Yellow and Purple - Neutral safety
2. Blue and L.Green - Reverse lights
3. Black w/white and Orange w/black - Go to the ECM but what do they do? The switch applies in Park and Neutral and is a +ve and ground. What is the signal the ECM needs from this or is it a 2nd stage to the neutral safety maybe?? I might have to use the Yellow and Purple for the switch on the ProStick and put the Black and Orange on a relay after the neutral safety switch applies.
Any help?
